Unlike traditional film imaging technology, digital radiography (DR) imaging technology uses a digital flat panel detector (FPD) instead of film as the imaging medium. DDA receives X-rays (or gamma rays), converts X-rays into electrical signals (directly or indirectly), and outputs digital signals through analog-to-digital conversion. The software collects the digital signal and displays it as a digital image after calculation by the algorithm.
